March means that autumn is here already. One upside to saying goodbye to summer is autumn interiors - the richer colour palette and more luxurious textures. I'm loving a mix of textures this season - leather, smoked glass, marble, velvet and furs. Spicy paprika accents on matte black metal.
Read on for my pick of autumn's new furnishings.
1. ombre smoked glass pendant | citta
Quietly sophisticated. Perfect for so many spaces - over your kitchen island, at your bedside, adding an edge to your guest bathroom. The shade is hand-blown shade in smoked glass with a central black American Oak barrel.
2. ombra tinted mirror | country road
Sleek and refined, again this piece is the perfect way to bring edge to a space. Perfect to pair with a certain smoked glass pendant!
3. montpellier paprika velvet cushion | furtex
Spicy burnt orange is a beautiful, rich autumn accent colour. These double-sided velvet cushions will add a cosy autumn spark to your sofa. The generous 53x53 cm size works with both classic and contemporary furniture. Add a feather inner and you'll be set to cosy up for autumn.
4. pyrenees goat fur cushion | furtex
The new fur on the block this season - Pyrenees long haired goat fur. Natural, rather handsome and a little lavish. They come in black and stone and have matching hides, but also look great paired with velvets and other furs like the naturally curly Tibetan lamb fur.
5. leopard goat fur cushion | french country
More texture! This time with a shorthair leopard pattern goat fur cushion. Warm toned, natural colourings soften the back of metal or wooden chairs or let it add some personality to your bedroom as a throw pillow.
6. symphony throw | furtex
Indulge and brighten up a greyer day with a burnt orange accent. These throws are carefully space-dyed and woven brushed acrylic, giving a mottled, two-tone look for more warmth and texture.
7. anouk goat skin stool | french country
Every space needs a stool - double duty as extra seating or a side table in a living room, in your entry way as the perfect perch for tying shoes, an accent in your wardrobe. The stool combines goat skin leather in black or brown with black iron.
8. elle pipe console | soren liv
Both elegant and edgy, this console combine a black powder-coated frame with a matt white marble top.
9. hug cognac leather chair | maytime marketing
Rich and warm tan leather - the name of this handsome chair says it all. Work it with neutrals or dark tones and mix in accents in either autumn brights or textured furs.
10. roussel table | french country
This gorgeous Mediterranean inspired table would work as a bedside or a living room side table. The hand-made top has a textured white chalk pattern - and it can be removed as a tray to serve from - perfect for breakfast in bed!
