KFD Interiors is an award winning full service interior design studio for residential and boutique commercial projects located in Auckland, working with clients New Zealand wide.
Specialising in new builds or full renovations, KFD Interiors works with busy clients, their architects, builders and trades from concept to completion of your finished home. We offer expertise in creating a clear vision for your home, space management, colour and finishes specifications, furniture and furnishing selections (including a passion for custom pieces) and styling.
And while our focus is designing beautiful interiors, we understand that a smooth, professional project experience is important to our clients, from concept through to completion.
Our goal is to provide the personal, customised service of a boutique studio, while providing the support and systems of a larger company.

Having been immersed in the world of interiors for many years, Brigitte brings design flair to all we do at KFD Interiors. She has a sharp eye for detail, which she applies across the breadth of a project, from helping capture the overall vision to practically documenting the details of a design. She calmly brings a timeless style to all she works on, capturing this in her graphic design.

Helen plays a pivotal role at KFD Interiors, making it happen. She’s the essential link between us and our network of suppliers and manages all the details of procurement, ultimately ensuring the delivery of our projects on time and on budget. She has a wealth of experience across various creative and customer focused industries. Helen’s strong attention to detail and unruffled approach to every challenge combined with her fun, friendly manner make her shine in her role.
KIRSTEN ford | founder, director
Kirsten is passionate about infusing everyday life with style and edge.
Time spent living and working in Europe and subsequently building two family homes inspired her to pursue a lifelong obsession with design, launching her own interiors business in 2016 and quickly establishing a reputation for creating bespoke, modern interiors. Her signature style is both contemporary and classic, always detail driven and executed to perfection.
A 15 year career in corporate marketing saw Kirsten develop a critical eye for design, attention to detail and thorough project management skills, which has transposed to a clear, concise design process for all her projects. She completed a diploma of Interior Design from New Zealand’s Interior Design Institute in 2015 and her work has been awarded both locally and internationally, including selection to travel to the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. Her projects and commentary have been published in NZ House & Garden, Home, M2 Woman, NZ Kitchens & Bathrooms, Stuff and more.
